Same as in the Netherlands, if you remove the wealth part, it is like east Germany behind the iron curtain.   18. Those powerful entities in society that can and do deny others life essentials, such as financial or social connectivity, are essentially performing a political coup. As such this fits in the category of treason and a hostile takeover of society by a foreign entity. This is no normal legal matter! The government and especially the justice system should be up in arms over this (as should the military) and they should spare no effort to grind PayPal and every other corporation that thinks they own the world to dust. If only because their own position in society is under threat by this, just give it a few years! Citizens too should be up in arms over this, because it essentially turns them to slaves when every corporation can do as it pleases without checks and balances. The top of PayPal should be brought to justice and literally face life long imprisonment or worse for this.

  19. Even illegal people need to eat/consume. Whomever pays for it, the corporations get extra income from more people. Corporations benefit either way when more people, legal or illegal enter the US. They just benefit MUCH more when the people are illegal, at the expense of the legal working people! And it drives up asset prices, guess who has these assets...the rich corporate types! And their relative power to ordinary citizens increases as a result. Voting for open borders is voting for slavery and the abolishing of your current rights. Even promoting open borders is pure treason, an act of aggression. Execution is the only solution, they need to be brutally beheaded for their crime! No excuses, peace and a dignified life require the willingness to do these things, else you are just cattle! Its also why free speech cannot be an absolute. If bad ideas have more power (they do), then free speech can only lead to bad outcomes over time.

  23. That is the lazy way to think about it. I know people that work all the time but it just does not pay enough to live here and have a decent life. Much of the problem is actually from outsourcing low wage jobs to foreigners and very low-wage countries, while increasing the cost of living. We have a progressive tax system that begins to put the financial screws on way before reaching even a median income (this keeps most people relatively poor). As soon as you get above median income, you find you have to pay 50% direct income tax from there (insane). Work simply does not pay, the basic living cost are artificially made extremely high in comparison. And we give every non-inhabitant all financial preferred treatment one can think off. And just when the population would shrink, giving the post boomer generations some economic opportunities (at last), the policy becomes to suffocate them with unfair outside competition and accelerated mass-immigration. The boomers in power are slave drivers, them telling younger generations they are just lazy makes no sense, its a lie to keep on stealing wealth from their children trough the state while moral grandstanding. Its no wonder there are people that just give up working at some point, what does it matter if everything gets stolen under a threat of force anyway? Every generation has its flaws, but not wanting to work is not one of them. Expecting people to work for noting without prospects, while others that do less bathe in undeserved wealth and benefits is just cruel.

  24. The real problem is the cost of government, many agencies need to go for that and their powers slashed dramatically. Inflation exists because of the insane government spending and hindering of the economy at the same time. Less stuff to buy, more money going after the stuff that is available. Simple as that. Can't outgrow the damage the government does, the low hanging productivity gain fruits are long gone and squandered. Even future production and growth is already spend by the boomers!

  25. Not that I really care about Twitter, but it sounds Orwellian when verified becomes unverified. As if suddenly the account is no longer the real person it suggests to be. That makes verified loose all of its meaning and removing the status becomes deliberately misleading people. Depending on the impact of that news, that can most certainly be a crime. Either way, it is a form of identity theft, which is clearly a crime (and not a small one at that). Looks like a nice case for the Supreme Court to work on.

  30.  @stefanyuwono1909  In an emergency situation you are absolutely right, in the heat of battle for example. But these are all low intensity, time diluted events. To then not be assertive and neglect the oath taken is treason in and of itself. I think protecting the constitution and defending from domestic and foreign enemies even supersedes blindly following the chain of command! It's at least written BEFORE it and in the same sentence!

I think it's mainly mental laziness that makes people adhere to the slogan. Yes it's just that, unless in a strict command hierarchy for pragmatic reasons, like in the military, it is just people pretending it applies to them as well. Your boss has a function and that function is NOT to micro-manage your work as if you are a puppet. If a boss treats me like a puppet, that boss is unsuited for the function and is neglecting duties, which is to optimize and support his workforce for best results. A power-tripping boss has to be removed, one way or another. Quitting is only a last resort IMO, like if the whole chain up is compromised as well. Then let them go bankrupt even faster by leaving. Which is happening in the USA right now I suppose.

  33. How is today's society workable, no-one agrees on anything and everything happens with the threat of force. I think people have come to accept their bubble too much and for far to long, we are essentially managed cattle at this point. My point being, when asking how to do things from others that want to change something for a very good reason into something else, apply the same measure to what is now. I think you will find the whole foundation underneath the questioning falls apart. Because doing nothing and continue as is, is a very bad outcome.

  34. Sorry, but this is delusional The war started because Ukraine wanted to join NATO AFTER A BLOODY COUP and then they started shelling Russian population that rejected this new direction. All the while amassing a huge NATO trained army at the Russian border (under the guise of an accord for self-government of the breakaway regions). Those breakaway regions won and settled for peace via an accord that never got implemented. All the while Ukraine was building up for war with the help of NATO. And now the breakaway regions are officially part of Russia, that land is not even negotiable anymore. And where are these magical North Koreans you talk about? If there were actual proof of them being in the fight and not just training in Russia, it would be plastered all over the news with video and all that, 24/7. Besides, these countries now have a defense treaty and Ukraine is still occupying Russian land, so it would be totally valid for them to do their part. Really, the proposal is ridiculous as Ukraine gets what it wants right away as if they won the war, while the winners are left empty handed. The whole reason for the conflict was about NATO involvement in Ukraine to begin with! With the internal war against Russians as a sizable secondary reason to step in for real. Russia has seen this before, the West makes promises and end up just buying time to get ready for conflict. No, even the slightest idea that this is a good deal of Russia is moronic.

And now he is pretty much taking sides in a conflict by blaming Putin for it. He is likely as demented as Biden and already forgot that it was the Ukrainians that helped to undermine his election (it failed, but that is besides the point). Sadly, I see lots of idiots fall for it and defend Twitter/MSM tooth to nail. I think they need to be executed eventually, they are unrecoverable as human beings.
