  1. Do not make the mistake of assuming that just because if evaluated forever pre-power-grab a splintered group is unstable, it cannot become stable after a power grab by tossing out undesirables! There are plenty of political examples around us where parties had to shed dozens of kabinet members and just stay in power. This process also turns a democracy into a full-term dictatorship as a majority coalition can then keep hanging onto power unopposed by parlement. I would even argue, this is becoming common in the West!
