  1. All problems solved in the 90s with C++, but those non-developers developing software as if they were, never adopted the techniques. And here lies the true problem. If Microsoft and Google tell us that 70% of their problems are memory and pointer related, it means they use monkeys as programmers! And you cannot expect those same monkeys to use another language well, that will solve nothing. And no, C++ ain't perfect, its horrible in many ways as its bloated with features not required to write good software. A subset of C++ would however be nearly the ideal language for most uses.
