  1. I see logical fallacies here. If it is a complex system that is clearly not well understood, we should not try to mess with it! Arguing about cost vs benefits is meaningless, it just shows personal bias or an attempt to con people into parting with their money. Worst still, it could backfire and actually cause the harm it is said to prevent. It is not well understood, remember?
