  3. I think mix funds are a dumping place for big-bank investment losses anyway. If you want control and diversification, you got to do the scrutinizing work yourself IMO. Personally I lost trust in all financial products that are managed by banks, they do not see us as customers, but food to consume.

  4. Many babyboomers will just use their remaining money to do "good things", supporting organizations/politics that end up messing up the future of their own children and grandchildren. Its a double whammy FU, because in the end the boomers are just idiots that live in a world that never existed for anyone else.
