  1. Article 5 does not *guarantee* NATO members come to a countries aid. And in practice politics of the day will always take priority over ideals of the past. In other words, NATO's usefulness as a defense organization is close to zero. It is an utility organization that simply serves the political interests of the USA leadership class and their weapon industry.

  3. The whole move is based on lies and misrepresentation of what the Ukraine conflict is about. There was a war since 2014 and all of a sudden there is a problem when its about to be ended for good. So I call BS on the move to join NATO.
