@andreaweber8059 The thing you're missing in your prediction model is what happens in between the broad social justice fiat decree and the Utopian solution of your imagination coming effectively to fruition. It's a nice story but competence matters. On every level.

@legend-2890 Wrong. You're misinformed. Not every country has the same infrastructure for processing the latest packaging ideas. Behaviorally, Westerners are the same. There are vast positive and negative incentives for taking care to process the garbage in accordance with the law and if the infrastructure is there, the areas are clean. The dirtiest Western locations are the big cities. Especially the ones that have the most tourists. But worse for me is how the beaches are treated when everything is there to make it easy to clean up. California is the worst, with no excuse at all. Then again, the East Coast of the USA is probably dirtier but the density of humans is greater so the challenge to keep the infrastructure in order is probably greater. West coast denizens don't have any excuses at all.

@Aliquis.frigus It's the same in California. If the burden is too great for them they still throw it in the streets, parks and beaches.
