Basically, the entire crew taht served that day and everyone involved in planning need to be immediately demoted and assigned desk duty until it is fully investigated to see if any of them get to keep their jobs and keep out of prison. Why assume that "probably" there was no criminal conspiracy involved? Or even gross negligence - that is also criminally actionable?

  2. It's a nice way of saying that it's beyond their skills. I'd say it's beyond their motivation to actually worry about good faith execution of their sworn duties. Not in every case, but certainly all of the planners and team leaders at every level should be fired and then investigated to see if they need to be criminally charged. None of these people should be allowed to protect any official on behalf of the USA, ever again. And we have too many people on the payroll in the Federal Executive Branch. Why keep losers and marginal "security" agents of any kind?

Critics have said that the Secret Service Agents should not have allowed Trump to stand until the entire area had been "cleared" as safe, and what that actually means is that he should have been immediately evacuated without being exposed to any potential backup attackers. But the sniper died before Trump stood back up.

But if there is no conspiracy to investigate why are these people so unreasonably obtuse and downright deceptive? Nobody is that incompetent and that prepared to come up with this obtuse garbage. They had skilled defense lawyers prepare all of this. And Roe was also prepped by lawyers who instructed him on what he could get away with (beyond what a judge in a court of law would permit).
