@anonymoustoo4945 The conditions are different from Putin. Putin is no different from any other Marxist in power. He saw conditions worsen for his homeland when they lost the satellites. Although this didn't affect his prospects for building whatever wealth he wanted to. But comparing him to Musk is mendacious in more ways than stated. Putin would struggle even more raising hard currency than Musk would. Putin would have to go through this vast labyrinth and get help from Xi. Both can live any way that they choose but Musk has a clearer conscience.

It's not tit for tat. Trump is targeting top tier criminal gangsters running various States and Federal agencies. I don't think it's personal at all. Trump pities them personally because they're deluded cultists. But they're criminals that must be prosecuted and the big picture is all about the most important Criminal RICO case in US history.

Tucker is not Presidential material. He's not a politician. He's a good critic, not a problem solver. Even he would say that. He was pals with Hunter Biden. Which is OK if you're not serious about ever leading anything. Tucker only "woke up" to the antiwoke movement sometime after Trump got elected. Think about that. Actually, anyone that wins the Republican nomination should beg Ted Cruz to be running mate. Nobody is better at knowing how to fix US DOJ and protect Constitutionalist judges. Just listen to Cruz at confirmation hearings and even at the Joint Session where the big "Insurrection" fraud was pulled off. Ted Cruz's proposal was exactly what Mike Pence was asked to put to a vote. Ted Cruz teed it up for Pence. That's the story everyone seems to miss. Ted Cruz in effect made Pence's "conundrum" go away. All he had to do was take a Senator's proposal and put it to vote. And then we would know who all the traitors are. And just maybe they would have voted to send the Electors back to each State for more investigations of fraud. THAT is what makes Pence a traitor and a blatant liar.

First of all, nobody in Russia ever had property rights under equal application of the law. This is true with most or perhaps all of Europe as well. The US Constitution is unique because of the Bill of Rights and Constitutionally framed separations of branches laterally and States versus the Federal government vertically. Calling Putin a kleptocrat is OK from the Western POV because of Western traditions for holding property in the age of "democracy" or "democratic rights" when the public is told that they have "rights" to hold their property under contract law and whatever. If property is theft, as earlier socialists claim, then Putin is Russia Robin Hood. This is the nature of humans that have no fear of the Ten Commandments. Worse is the European socialists, especially dogmatic Marxists, that actually hold to "Social Darwinism" that implies an Ubermensch class is needed to "liberate" the people. It is strongly implied all over the West that these tyrants, including in the USA, are following all of the socialist doctrines, including Freudian psychology, that posits an inability for all persons to reconcile "truth' without "science". According to Critical Theory Marxism, Putin is a "Liberator" but also a fascist because he turned away from Stalinist imperialism in the name of liberating the Third Estate throughout the world or "International Workers" as Marx originally described the Untermensch cannon fodder. Putin is no different than Hillary Clinton in philosophy and behavior. Hillary has never been a head of any state. So she has no military sworn to follow her. That's the essential difference between the two. Let's not play these Special Pleading games where Hitler and Putin are like special mutations and so forth. Their so called liberals under Marxist Liberation Theory. Hillary is jealous of Putin. And angry that he openly criticized her. Hillary is actually a much bigger hypocrite because Putin never said he is running a rule of law republic.

The fact that Snowden found sanctuary from Obama and the DC careerists already helps Putin and every nation that wants to paint the USA as inherently corrupt when they promote "human rights" that are not even human rights. And when they lecture on "true democracy" that they have destroyed in America. The Democratic Party is inherently elitist, naming itself when they needed to coalesce around defending chattel slavery. Obviously "democracy" is not about the equal application of the law as mentioned in the US Constitution. The thing is in all of their years since the Civil War there is not one doctrine they have supported that is based on equal application of the law. Not one. But if you take Kammy Harris's new "Equity" BS it's obvious that in order to create cosmic "Equity" (supposedly making Victicrat classes "equal" by class in compensation for alleged historical wrongs like when the Christians conspired to force women to carry babies in their uteri ). Russian justice is way, way beyond what is written in the US Constitution. But so is the US Democratic Party version. Russia has better excuses than FDR ever did.

US corporations that import their wares should pay 30% or more because every country in the world has protectionist policies in place already. That is how competent laissez faire economic planning is done. We're highly regulated but biased towards DC cronies and that is why "wokeness" is key because DEI companies can do just about anything they want. Think about COVID lockdowns and "essential businesses". How were they selected? Why do you think DEI started becoming so blatant during 2020 and thereafter? Our bureaucrats are the most self-hating on the planet.

The issue is something called unilateral free trade where foreign nations bear no real burdens of the US regulations placed on domestic manufacturers and Citizens. That's why intelligent "MAGA" frame their policy preferences as "fair trade" meaning tit for tat while the Administrative State is reduced as much as possible over time. You can't do it overnight. And this is why I hate all multilateral trade agreements. NAFTA was supposed to smooth the flow of "goods" (including illicit drugs and slaves?) across the North American borders. This is a cartoonish and delusional form of "libertarianism". It's actually the Davos cult taking over and bartering with traitors in power in each country. Most of the traitors are in the US, Canada and Europe.

@Bugginout79 You're not going to get much more sales tax from them. The comment I responded to suggested a luxury (consumer goods) tax. Most sales tax revenue comes from the middle class.

We don't have a Laissez-Faire Economy in the USA. Not since FDR. So just conflating "capitalism" with laissez-faire economics and then asking if we're "capitalist or not" is stupid. And it doesn't lead to discussions that lead to actual root causes (as opposed to Marxist "root causes" that Always Blame Capitalism). With respect to Trump, he I think understands Laissez-Faire economics but has never lived under it. He knows he doesn't want to throw out tariffs on US manufacturers that move out of the USA. The problem is that the status quo is FUBAR and not easy to fix when you have, well, the kind of horrible economic policies we've had for the entire Cold War and since Clinton. Trump only had 4 years and all of the moves he made led slower to reduced regulations. Protectionism is a doctrine of protectionist interventions regardless of circumstances. He's not a protectionists. Start with a realistic understanding of the status quo.
