@f87115 Rigid adherence to grammatical rules comes from indoctrination, not education per se. Nothing wrong with it, but I think you guys fail to see the irony in your petty reactions. Education is learning to think and even learning to manage your own progress. Indoctrination is the imposition of rules (aka "doctrines"). Progs indoctrinate and even confuse students that employ critical thinking that runs afoul of Political Correctness. Political Correctness is a real thing and the overarching "rule" that shapes all discourses and materials selections in our schools. It comes explicitly from Marxist materialists that realized that they must begin a structured culture war because "bigots" (critical thinking theists) reject simplistic Marxist dogmas. Critical thinking is the process that humans employ to increase "intelligence" or vetted information.

He remembers watching January 6 on TV. Last week. His parents probably have it for him on Netflix or something.

That's a fact, not an opinion. It's only "just your opinion" if there are no actual standards for anything (post modernism).

@WhoaBo This CNN segment has been posted for many hours by other uploaders. You are under suspicion of leftthink.

@BootsOfConcrete Plus the video being discussed was up many hours ago. LOL.

@f87115 Grok tries to sound like me. And if that's the sound in your head while reading what I wrote I suggest spending more time with the dictionaries.

@melissamurray8307 As a kid I would have said that it's all stupid. I definitely would have said I don't know about these fools because their history is not written but I noticed early on that all Democratic Party Presidents were notorious aholes except for Truman and JFK. When I first heard about FDR I was like, that dude panicked like a mofo and I guess the public was terrified as well. I learned about FDR the same year I heard about War of the Worlds radio show panic. And I sort of thought that technological progress is always a good thing but sometimes the public isn't ready for something new. And I knew that leftists hated Reagan for his attacks on the Soviet Union. I knew instantly what a great man he was. So I just thought all "political discussions" in school in California were idiotic. My parents had a lot of very smart friends and they never discussed politics. So I didn't think the world was full of idiots, just the schools. That's where I was wrong. The world or at least "The West" is now full of freaking idiots. But the kids don't usually follow the parents' or teachers' lead unless forced. They don't GAF. The "Political Identity Group" families are paranoid as hell and those kids are terrorized but I never knew anyone like that as a kid.

@Neviksir Keep telling yourself that.

This has been happening since Andrew Jackson. Leftism is just something adopted by the evil slaver cult as it morphed and responded to changing conditions. But what does "democratic" mean to a group of people that identifies that way while fighting for the "right" to keep slaves? Think about it. It's the same cult and they have always felt persecuted by "Patricians". These are the (philosophically) French Jacobins that ended up in America while Napoleon was destroying Europe. It's the same cult. The Communists started to capture the party some time leading up to FDR's reign. Communism and Jacobinism are not the same thing but you could say that Communism is evolved (or devolved, pseudoscientific) Jacobinism. I'm glad we're discussing this latest CNN video but I've seen this kind of garbage since I was a kid in California. I never new any "Republicans" but I used to just roll my eyes when any lunatic of any age started talking about "politics" in Manichean (good versus evil) terms. And then my parents tried to be "rational" in their love of this party and that's another story, really. The talking points were more about "democratic altruism" than what Hillary Clinton did to the party (since Bill's first campaign).

@Lordofthelosers01 Exactly. Idiotic kids come from idiotic parents.

That's where it started. The hippies were the worst because the freaking Marxists in our schools were OK with FDR's relationship with Stalin and then panicked like heck when Truman accepted the "facts on the ground" that Churchill called the "Iron Curtain". IOW, the Soviet Communists lied about "liberating" all of those little countries. And so called "liberals" became really angry. There's a book called "Prison Notebooks" by Antonio Gramsci. These panicked blurbs must reflect what every Marxist in the USA felt as Truman started pivoting against Russian Communists and then the CCP victory in mainland China, not to mention the push in to Korea. By the time the baby boomers went to college these US Marxists were ready for full blown Soviet-style indoctrination sessions. And of course we must not forget that the culture of the baby boomers affected the whole world but the USA experienced the biggest boom in terms of numbers and a tidal wave of babies born from couples who thought we'd never go to war again.

@nogames8982 The rainbow flag is a flag of revolution under the guise of "coexistence". It's an authoritarian form of "democratic peace theory". IOW, peaceful after enough genocide. It's a variation on "Dictatorship of the Proletariat". The only way to make it even more obvious is to put a hammer and sickle on there somewhere. They fashion themselves as "post modernist" meaning they are beyond all of this Communism versus Capitalism stuff. But the game is given away when they show abject hatred for any "vestiges of disparity" aka Capitalism.

@vifcole Jacobinisn is a secular religion. Marx turned it in to Settled (Pseudo) Social Science. The thing about Critical Theory is that if you read the synopses it states that "A Theory is Critical if it....leads to emancipation..." Emancipation of the slaves kept by Confederate Democrats? No. The "woke truth" is that Capitalists are the world's true Slave Masters. And on this circular logic we have had decades of "social studies" rammed down everyone's throat and I think people don't realize that what they found out by accident during COVID remote learning sessions is that this was all inevitable if you just read the Communist Manifesto. If the "seizing means of production" phase is already passé or "outmoded" is how Marx is usually translated then what is left to do? Destroy all institutions with ties to "Capitalism" which is the idea that people get to keep what they earn even if a mob of people starts chanting about how unfair it is. Marriage and "breeder" reproduction is cited explicitly in the Communist Manifesto as the building block of Capitalism and therefore as the system of oppressor class versus wage slave class.

@vifcole BTW, the "political right" is a construct of the Marxists. French Jacobins created the "left wing" self identity (the Jacobin label was initially imposed on them because many of the radicals met at a club that went by that name) and they opposed the Ancien Regime or First and Second Estates. They called everyone else The Third Estate. Right and Right Wing emerged after decades of false binary arguments from Marxist morons and by the time we get to explaining why Hitler is worse or even the opposite of Stalin you have "Right Wing Nazism". And then "nationalism" (anyone supporting Westphalian nationalism) stands in opposition to global solidarity and consolidation of "means of production" so anyone that argues against the Marxist agenda is "right wing reactionary" or "Reactionary Capitalist". My point is that the left IS a secular political collect. It conflates religious devotion with the various pseudo=sciences that Marx and his academic followers rely on. Opposition to that cult is not "right wing" or anything on any "left right" political spectrum. You just have to apply critical thinking to their ideas and you're "reactionary capitalist" according to Marxism. Don't buy in to it at all. Opposition to Marxism is NOT a cult. It is critical thinking and, basically, an acknowledgement that humans don't do well by joining hivemind political cults. And why would opposition to a cult require anyone to follow this cult's rules on "political identity" and so forth? Don't do it. Explain your opposition by simply pointing out that you resisted the Marxist indoctrination by applying natural critical thinking. There is no right wing hivemind. The hiveminded politics is 100% a product of Marxism.

@craigdurso3005 It's the foundational doctrine of "leftism" and then Marxism (which is really just pseudoscientific leftism). The original leftist accusation was that the monarch and institutional church were in a sort of "Ancient Regime" cult that oppressed the "Third Estate". The Jacobins of course had to recreate (perceived) "Common Sense" and the first mantra was kill the king. The second was "Property is theft." This was because the church had taken over indoctrination of the realm and it affected everyone's "common sense" to believe in this social order that "disenfranchised" them. The thing is that there really wasn't anything that the "elites" were not sharing. It was pure envy. Marx came along and started created pseudoscientific doctrines to explain how the Industrial Revolution would lead to genocide of the disenfranchised (AKA Third Estate). This is where "Third World" comes from in the 1950s because some stupid French "socialist" philosopher started pontificating and equating "undeveloped nations" with the French "Third Estate".
