Fact-based "messaging" doesn't need tweaking. If the facts are not doing it for you, you need to change what facts you bring to the table next time. The problem is the doctrinaire Marxists can't fathom changing policy. It's all about the culture war as described by Antonio Gramsci when Mussolini threw him in prison for being "globalist" Communist (whereas Mussolini was a nationalist Marxist who never credited Marx). But to change policy is to question all of their underlying (and obviously broken) assumptions.

@VanMan83 Check out the Communist Manifesto and the year it was written. The only thing new since then is the Critical Theory academic-Marxist driven culture war. And that dates back to Nazi Germany and their flight to "democracy" in the USA for protection from "fascism" as if Leninism isn't the exact same thing.

@seth7745 Yes, well you have to know the worldview of the one using these terms. It now means "Freedom from the Disparity of the Capitalist Class War". Every philosophy can be turned on its head by creating a phantom class war bogey man or two. OK, so you lost most of your economic freedoms but we're protecting you from Trump and Putin's Oligarchs and so forth. Plus, the Patriarchy that tricked you in to gender roles and taboos and destroyed your mind and so forth. If you disagree we call you a Science Denier with False Consciousness or Cognitive Dissonance, depending on which freedoms you're defending. The free markets of the Capitalists actually turn "the 99 percent" in to wage and mind slaves. And then there are endless circular fallacies like "You can't even name the Internal Contradictions of Capitalism!" You only think that you're free, bro. Wokists are like hard-atheist Calvinists.

@seth7745 The best literal translation for democracy is rule of the demos which translates more or less to, I kid you not, village people. Or what Hitler called Volk. Folks. Presumably they make up most of the numbers of any give polity because the Volk stand in contrast to Establishment Power. Or something along those lines. And in modern times republic translates to monarch/emperor killers. But we're a Constitutional republic. And the way that the Constitution was created, promulgated and ratified makes us unique. Democratic implies elections but Communist Republics with no enforceable Constitution and no elections often named themselves "democratic republic...". Marxism really twists the mind like no other ideology.
