@IHFM2024 You're making a demagogic philosophical claim as if there's some kind of "test" for "absolute rights". And there isn't. The Second Amendment uses the strongest language of all. And in court that language trumps all language that parses governing prerogatives. What that means is the 2A "trumps" all other "rights" and powers written in the US Constitution. "No rights are absolute" is a red herring and a straw man.

Yeah, it's stupid. No rights are absolute in the sense that you can still get dragged in to court. But the burden of proof is on the others to show how their rights or prerogatives win the lawsuit. On the other hand, the 2nd Amendment is the most emphatically "absolute" in the sense that there's no "due process" wiggle room. For example, "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause..." Not: "...shall not be infringed".

LOL. There are no lawful restrictions on free speech. What an idiot! Also "shall not be infringed" is pretty much as absolute in language as you can get. The thing is that these Confederates have taken over DC and are still using their Special Understanding of Democratic Words and Special Legal Stuff. What they hate is that there used to be a States' rights argument for States "regulating" the militias and therefore the kinds of "arms" carried. But because they went insane with "States' Rights to Slavery" doctrine we felt the need to pass the Fourteenth Amendment rather than making a sort of end of war law (or even Amendment) that directly rebuked every fallacious thing these slavers imposed (and got away with) in the Federal courts. So, these racists are still racists of another kind. But given that they have ALWAYS blamed "Patricians" for slavery and for losing their slaves to "Capitalism" how much has really changed? They still claim to "own the blacks" (as Old Racist Joe about that). And they still claim to have Special Understanding of the freaking Constitution as needed. Of course it's not like chattel slavery. But philosophically, it is exactly like a 3 class apartheid political system. This time, instead of seceding, they threaten instead to take over DC with single party rule and then "wipe out" Republicanism. They haven't exactly condemned genocide or slavery of their leftwing allies either...so...what exactly has changed about the US Democratic Party?

There's no other higher card unless some lying ahole pulls out a Joker and claims he wins. People just need to learn how to read in context. Rights arguments are for use in court. Governing institutions and officers have prerogatives and powers. The problem with evil Demonrats is that they think they can rewrite any rules and any given moment and they don't even have to live by these new rules. They have 3 sets of rules. Rules for party enemies, rules for party constituents, rules for allies with power or "a seat at the table" of their undocumented ruling councils. This stupid Governor took a shot at climbing up the ranks and tripped over a proverbial rock.

@selohcin The first question is what evidence is there that anyone alive right now has committed treason against the United States? Are you suggesting that the accusations are delusional or the expectation of enforcement? Also, bribery is not ipso facto treason, unless the quid pro quo involves treasonous policies for sale. Like energy policies, and so forth. Or funding a war. That kind of thing. You haven't written anything that doesn't suggest that you're among the deluded. Now, odds are that Joe Biden will not even live long enough to get Impeached, never mind charged of anything by a determined "rule of law" Presidential administration. And the other crime family heads are all in their 70s and 80s as well. So, technically, the odds are on your side of you think they won't get charged or convicted but that doesn't mean anyone is delusional for calling for investigations that lead to proper enforcement of national security law.
