What they can't do is take a copy of a classified document and then reclassify it for public dissemination after leaving office. Hence it is not illegal for him to hold classified documents in his post-presidential home. And even then if he chose to "leak" it as a "whistleblower" this is arguably also protected speech since many lower level officials have been protected for leaking "public interests" documents to the public in technical violation of the Espionage Act. The Presidential Records Act is enforceable only under Administrative law, and a lot of the statist interpretations of that legal framework are often ruled unconstitutional when challenged in Federal courts. That's why you leftists go totally insane when a non-Communist judge is placed and promoted. You obviously have no clue about how anything actually works. Neither does your President.

They had their own special legal lexicon from the beginning where the only people with due process guarantees were the ones they declared to be "democratic". I think that the fascist and Communists got most of their "political" ideas for "the long march" to Communism from the entire history of the Democratic Party.

@jviper2004 You people don't even know how to properly interpret a document like the US Constitution. It is your Communist lawyers, including judges, that created this mess. The biggest expansion of Presidential powers and the "dual track" way that it's applied came since FDR. FDR's BFF was Joseph Stalin. We know what a President is supposed to do and what the duties and powers are for Congress and the Judicial Branch.

The entire reason for carrying all of that stuff off was that all Demon Rat criminals are terrified of facing a rule-of-law Executive Branch once they leave. Obama did the same. Notice the timing is that they started the search in the last weeks of the mid term leadups and then once they saw they would lose the House they gathered it up and then only reported it afterwards. They knew they would have to do something like this before they even decided which corrupt Demon Rat to set up in the White House.

@wolveslair766 Presidential Records Act. Actually, Presidential prerogatives can't be undermined by Congress alone. Amendments are required to abrogate or modify rights taken directly from the written Constitution. The PRA gives SOP guidelines for everyone in support of the President but the President himself doesn't have to follow it. High Crimes are basically scandalizing Congress. If Congress passes a law that the President doesn't have to follow then the only recourse Congress has to "enforce" it is threaten to defund something or Impeachment for the "High Crime" as listed. The Demon Rats actually Impeached Trump first for investigating the Biden crime family and then for protesting the outrageous "Special Covid" election corruption. They're blatant criminal liars. Even their supporters know that they're lying. Democratic Party voters know that the Democratic Party in the USA is nothing but criminals that want to "destroy patriarchy" which really means to achieve single party rule under the Soviet doctrine known as "Democratic Centralism". Lenin created "Democratic Centralism" and "Vanguard Party" doctrines immediately after the chaos of the second Russian Revolution (or the first as the Communists record it) and this framework is what Mussolini and then Hitler followed to create "nationalist" Communism AKA 'socialism' that openly rejected the Russian Soviets as (global) Vanguard Party.
