In government there are no shareholders to vote to send someone in to check. So when someone quits or dies they keep the checks flowing and they get redirected.

@randyg22152 You people have zero credibility. Musk voted for Biden and Obama while I was talking about all of this same garbage. My message at that time was that "Obamacare" is a bad idea under the status quo at that time because it will be just one more program to effe up with respect to runaway costs and corrupt agencies AND effe up medical services entirely because private sector doctors have little incentive to become pioneers in leading edge medical discovers that need to be developed. This has nothing to do with Musk, his selfish interests or ideology. Musk isn't all that smart. But he's 3 or 4 times smarter than your ilk. Also. Musk did not ask for classified material to be disclosed AND Musk has a Security Clearance based on his relationship with the US government as a manufacturer that provides goods and services to NASA and the US military. Give it up.

It's said to be about 90%. Between 80% to 95% is a very safe estimate. FFS, even the freaking teachers' unions didn't teachers to go back to work. There are probably fewer than 1% of these millions of agency sacks that regularly or even occasionally work more than 40 hours a week.

Twitter fused itself to the Federal "government" AKA "Deep State". Musk was late to the party but when he bought Twitter and went in to see what was happening it was a small scale version of what has always been happening in DC since FDR. Musk discovered first hand just how corrupt of mind these people are. He then understood what "Deep State" meant. That is why Musk was put in charge of the execution of this task. It's not Musk's "decision" to do this. Most people understood what needed to be done before Musk did. But he's the guy for the job right now. Musk has no "selfish agenda" here. This SOP for straightening out any corrupt organization.
