  1. Pot has no validated medical use. That's why it's "more dangerous" than fentanyl in a "medical setting". Drugs are categorized in accordance with toxicity versus utility matrix. According to the Federal government, pharmacists have no business dispensing pot. That's all that means. Cocaine is usable and ranked in accordance with those "controls". Heroin is approved for research but not medical use, although I might be out of date. Morphine is in the same class as fentanyl. Drugs as potent as fentanyl need a separate class because they're actually extremely dangerous to handle and ship.
