  1. Harris is unbelievably ignorant. First of all, if he simply understands how "evidence" is ranked and sorted in the courts he would understand that it's not an either or situation on "believing evidence". He wants to "other" anyone that doesn't fully embrace his own ideology. And he does this with this seemingly innocuous rhetoric about "valuing evidence". People scoff at his claims because he himself doesn't understand what evidence means. Harris himself is completely deluded by Darwin's theory because it allows the hearer to assign themselves a special level of "Ubermensch" intelligence. They get to control the entire lexicon. In their own minds. That's why he seems so detached when he speaks. He is detached. He's as detached from reality as any ordinary human can be. Sam Harris does not ever offer objectively vetted evidence. He's a deluded ideolog that uses a lot of "science" buzzwords. Sam Harris, in a rational world, would not even be allowed to present any kind of Expert Opinion in a US court. Even today with like-minded Progressive lunatics it would be tough to get him vetted as an Expert Witness. Things are changing fast though. Some day the lunatics running the courts might need Harris's form of "expertise".
