Being a US Democratic Party politician isn't complicated. The party issues dictates. The last Democratic Party President that actually ruled over his own party was FDR. Democratic centralism is a Russian Soviet doctrine. Look it up. FDR's best Social Justice buddy was Stalin. FDR funded the Soviet WWII effort and died without saying a single negative thing about the Communists and what they had done. The public knew about the Russian death/work camps before the German Nazis assembled there's. We chose Communism over Nazism when both were evil. And it wasn't to help the British. It was to help the Russian Communists. A few US Generals were totally against this but all agreed on the need to crush "fascist" regimes. The US and European Communists pretended the whole time that Stalin was one of the good guys.
