He should run for US House as a Demon Rat. He's just as qualified as Nancy.

@sues3218 Have the Pacific on one side and the Atlantic on the other is far better than any "bubble" I've ever read about.

@ryant2568 We're not dependent on European imports. In theory, the middle class can rise up more and more with more opportunities to trade. But we have trade deficits with everyone. And often the things we sell to Europe are tariffed and sometimes even subsidized by US taxpayers. The whole New Deal era has been all about nutshell accounting games and riding intentionally created market bubbles. You can ride those waves for a long time, even 50 years or more. It was worth it to get the Soviet Union to give up their dream of ruling the entire world. Now what? European nations want more and more just because and their also helping the CCP grow. So this whole New Deal thing is really all about killing what Marxists consider the Golden Goose of Capitalism. They think they don't need the golden goose laying eggs because they think all of the wealth they extract will be carried off like gold. Or silver, and so forth. They have stupid views of wealth and economics. Adam Smith called it "Mercantilism". Anything done dogmatically leads to ruin. All of their economics theories are tainted by socialist and Marxist dogmas. If not for these dogmas they would abandon their stupidity entirely. With respect to Russia "gaining control" over Europe, what's the difference between Russia authoritarianism and Germany's? The only thing "great" about "liberal" Germany was West Germany. Do you know what happened to it? And both France and the United Kingdom have nuclear weapons and submarines for the "nuclear triad" and "MAD" deterrents. I'd like to save every puppy dog and every suffering person on the planet. But if I'm going to save anyone I have to first make sure scammers don't steal all of my materials.

@ You're among the deluded, that is for sure.

@ Another valid question is why should we keep them all open, especially when aholes randomly decide to spit in our faces (figuratively). It's just a fact that we have no need to protect Europe other than the basic idea that we want humanity itself to live in peace. But Europeans are, generally, cultivating an insane worldview. We have that problem in America as well so it's best we each fix our own domestic problems before going around and manipulating "norms" arguments and trying to make "morals" arguments out of stupid, mostly false, retellings of history. We should keep military bases where our allies consistently welcome and work with us. That's not really what happens in most of Western Europe these days. The last reliable politician on that side of the ocean was Margaret Thatcher. Most Europeans today love to hate her. It's a dying civilization that's in love with its own takes on history. They want to pretend to be the most "Progressive" and at the same time they want to preserve every artifact of the past while blaming "the rich" because ordinary people struggle to buy their own land or even make a comfortable living. But what plans to they have for the future? It's something between Hitlerian Socialism and Stalinism.

@All4mula "Strategic positioning" is not a standalone explanation. What's the strategy? Let me start off by saying that some of our worst allies for the past 2 decades are NATO members. I think NATO needs to go away and then each base can be considered in accordance with any new bilateral treaties. Multilateral military treaties are the dumbest idea, ever. We had to have them when Russia and China starting point nuclear weapons at us and "Capitalist" nations. But our weapons delivery systems are better than ever and the threat from Russian tanks rolling in to Europe is basically over. And setting aside the Marxist fever for revolution, the clearest cause of WWI was the multilateral defense treaties in place with Franz Ferdinand was assassinated by the "anarchist".

@gen_z_hippichikk Technically...you're useless.

@sherlockhomo-ph4su It's not an either or situation. He did not carry cash from the White House. That's true. The cabal did get plenty of cash and USD bank transfers. And you have no freaking idea what you're even talking about.
1
@gen_z_hippichikk True. The cash was sent to Ukraine in the same manner it was sent Iraq by Bush and Iran by Obama. Plus Ukraine got USD bank transfers.

@GeeGee19 Trump versus Pelosi.
1
@voixdelaraison593 Where did you get the idea that this is a psych session for your personal benefit?
1
@sherriegonzales4846 All leftists are confidence artists if they're anything at all. They lie so much they don't even know that they're lying because their phantom enemies are liars in their delusional stories.
1
@ThomasA63 <--- More Freudian projection from the leftist trolls.
1
@voixdelaraison593 I'm sure many of those meth heads do. Sounds like you know all about it.
1
@gen_z_hippichikk Again, you're totally wrong and have no effing idea what you're even talking about. Sometimes pallets of cash sent to war zones is a literal thing. The "line of credit" thing came straight from your other brain near your hips. What you left out is the munitions diverted from Japan and NATO members and so forth. There were all sorts of ways of sending "material support" to these scammers.
1
Zelensky is just as deluded as Gavin Newsom and Nancy Pelosi. Truly. Think about it. If he'd had notes for the meeting he would have ripped them up and thrown them at Trump. He's a psychopath.
1
What they think of NATO has become insane. Truly insane. They truly think we must back every move when NATO is a DEFENSE pact.
1
@ryant2568 It's the closest thing to living in a bubble. War anywhere effects us. Now what? Your kind of wisecracker comment does nothing to offer in terms of solving any problems.

@ogunsoladare2613 Incapable or unwilling?
