  3.  @burmy1552  Dude, you're missing out on the fuel for the fire, not the spark or the oxygen source. Sparks don't get amplified without a fuel supply. The problem with California is that the Green Communists want to burn everything down while blaming Capitalism. And they do that by refusing to maintain the woods that the government has claimed authority over. But the "homeless" crusaders also help quite a bit and the film version is all about Critical Theory propaganda.

  5.  @erikhaack4123  ignition sources are common. He's right about that. But he's wrong about the supposed organic fuel fire laid out perfectly everywhere. This is nonsense. The guy never took a survival course, that's for sure. Some trees are naturally prone to burn with a relatively small spark but those are supposed to be maintained. Most trees don't just go up in flames from a "spark" or even a bunch of cigarettes. You have to try to create even a small fire. Now, once the fire is intentionally started under a bunch of dry trees, now the winds are a big factor indeed. That's what happens. The only way it can happen accidentally is if the government or some land owner cleans up their dry brush and leaves it in place, unattended and then someone else comes along and throws a cigarette of fires a bottle rocket at it for fun. That happens as well, I am sure. And I just wonder if anyone has any leftover fireworks in early January. Now the only mystery is why there's so much dry brush sitting around California in January. Is it because the desert was turned in to orchards and homes with a major aqueduct project and then Marxist later shut it down to impoverish the California farmers and drive people away so that the government could take over all of the lands as "public accommodations" under "socialist" doctrines?
