Not really. Both Trump and Vivek are running without any lifelong attachment to some need to achieve high public office. That's all it really takes. It takes uncorrupted critical thinking.

@plotshift COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy on Thursday voiced support for changing the overall U.S. voting age to 25, unless younger Americans fulfill at least six months of service in the military or as a first responder — or pass the same citizenship test administered to those seeking to become naturalized citizens.

@Grandmaster_1776 Do you understand Freudian projection?

But there are still evil people that are still working to make it worse. So there's that.

@user-ni6mc3nw6u You wrote gibberish. Vivek is claiming to be an "operations" guy with experience in medical sciences. Industrial technology is a gibberish term. It means almost nothing unless you want to define what you mean in your own rhetoric but you didn't do that. When you say "like the Chinese" I just have to laugh out loud. What "Chinese Industrial Technology" would you compare anything else to? Musk's biases are towards engineering solutions in physics whereas Vivek has a background in biochemistry, IIRC. But you could look it up. It doesn't matter if you want to be CEO as long as the underlings respect you and expect "synergistic dividends" rather than zero-sum competition.

You fail to understand anything. Even back in FDR's day the controversy was whether "central planning" was a good long-term strategy for anything but war and solving solvable emergencies. The whole idea of the USA is that it's never been a nation led by a brilliant monarch. It's led by people that win elections. And the prosperity comes from the private sector where the government only regulates to the extent that liberty of the individuals (and private groups) is maximized. Governments are supposed to protect essential rights. Not some delusional right to weaponize your envy and demand free things. Vivek is very clearly promising exactly what Trump and Reagan promised. Only Reagan and Trump CLEARLY called out the problem with the conflation of expanding government controls and "increasing social justice".

There is nobody in DC that wants to deliver what Vivek is promising but MAGA. If he pisses off MAGA and the Communists what does he have left? They used to call it "gridlock and true libertarians love Congressional gridlock. LOL. That's why Vivek and Trump make great candidates. The traitors in DC hate them both. Hate their ideas and hate their rhetoric. They're political stalking horses to bring out the traitors. So many traitors have been exposed since Trump was first called "racist" for criticizing the open border. The only problem is that so many are still in power.

@pefo1674 Apparently you're not the professor non-Marxists are looking for.

There is no safe use for oral ingestion of fentanyl. Not only that but in a moral sense you can argue a "safe use" for many opioids, but fentanyl is not one of them. It's a drug developed to be very fast acting and fast clearing, for surgical uses. I think it was a very bad idea to come up with take home "patches" and lollipop packaging for "safe titration" because it's really not even effective in comparison to many other established drugs used historically. Passing fentanyl to these drug gangs is an act of war. On behalf of the supplier, the government that "regulates" and facilitates these shipments, and of course the narco terrorists, it is obviously an act of what used to be called "total war". It actually makes more sense if you want to defraud your clients to sell placebo pills rather than killing them off. But what are they actually doing? Perhaps the chemical suppliers are paying the narco-terrorists.

@DrTiwade That's a feature of corporate news and "professional" journalism.

@feefop9858 Like yours.

@masond2838 LOL. You have no good reason for that claim either.
1
@pefo1674 Well, because of the reality of cognitive dissonance the discussion of it always comes wrapped in irony.

@demigod1013 Just replacing Biden and all other Demon Rats with someone that denounces their party is pretty much all anyone needs to become a successful POTUS.

@MD97531 You're an expert, are you?
1
@MD97531 Liar. You don't think at all.

@MD97531 "You should fact check Vivek a bit, I mean he flip flops incessantly and clearly doesn’t believe in anything other than appealing to the people who will further his political career, at the expense of anything else." Zero sum thinkers are usually Marxists. Please explain anything that actually exists in reality that Vivek is going to "sacrifice" for the sake of some selfish interest of his. Please. Vivek appealing to "MAGA" is a appeal to liberty under the rule of law. It's the same appeal the US revolutionaries made to their compatriots. Contrast that with the French Jacobins. Liberty under the rule of law is still a thing that some people value and think is a legitimate "synergistic" goal.
1
You can't "pivot" to patriotism. The choices are so clear. Either Marxism or liberty under the rule of law. I can't believe this confuses anyone. Especially since Bill Clinton and we no longer had the Soviet Union to use as an excuse for the ever expanding 'Intel Community'.
1
@plotshift Can you quote his exact words?
1
@beanie4401 Yes. You.
1
@MD97531 The Demon Rat Marxists already have their Banana Republic in DC.

@astridgalactic9336 Pence is like Jeb Bush after doing a few years at a Weight Watchers boot camp.

Good candidates don't actually compete against each other. Trump's biggest mistake is the way he treated Ted Cruz. Vivek has no value to "beat Trump" because that's a stupid agenda.
