You don't understand the Progressive critiques. They lie because they think that they can attack anything from the past that doesn't fit their agenda by arguing (with massive, convoluted "social studies" theories) that the rule of law leads to "racism" and "oppression" of capitalism. They can't make their arguments honestly and take power in a democracy so they lie quite a bit. Progressives know that they're ignoring the Constitution. They pretend to represent "oppressed majorities" so that all of their losing arguments can be waged (dishonestly) in the courts as imaginary "rights" arguments. That is the problem. It's Progressive liars and their nihilistic, parasitic will to power. That is why they do not debate honestly and why they created Administrative law in the first place. Administrative law is basically a "democratic" (allegedly) replacement of the monarch's court of elites.

The issue isn't length of service but reliance on Administrative law and the agencies. And he mentioned Bork but should have additionally mentioned FDR's tyrannical "New Deal." At this point if you consider term limits a solution that will make things even worse because the entrenched bureaucrats will have more power. It is the unelected bureaucrats that should have service limits imposed. No unions, no service greater than 8 years. They can stay as long as a two-term President that appoints agency heads. Then reform Administrative law to send that power back to States whenever possible. And then you can start limiting the service of elected Congress critters. Do it backwards and it all gets worse.

It takes more than that to be President, especially when the things that he's complaining about are far bigger than what a short lecture can properly deal with. That is why we need Ted Cruz at some point. Sasse can be VP or part of the cabinet.
