  1. In all seriousness, this vote was a perfect test for the Communism virus. Racial quotas are so blatantly unconstitutional. Also, denying "slave class" standing in Federal courts was blatantly unconstitutional before the Civil War. These are the same liars that want to pretend that the original Constitution allowed for and protected "slavery" when the legal issue is that they denied due process guarantees to petitioners that wanted to sue for restoration of fundamental rights already written in to the Constitution. The European slaves knew their rights and new how to sue if held captive after fulfilling their commitment. The Democratic Party plantation slaves were born on the plantations and traded amongst each other. This create a loophole where none of the were advised on how to read the freaking Constitution even though some were taught to read and petition the courts the corrupt judges just got used to slamming most of them down and it finally went to SCOTUS where the racist Democrats came up with a big load of BS. The abolitionists basically ran out of legal paths to free these illegally enslaved people. That's what led to the US Civil War.

  2. The adults whining about loss of racial quotas dogmatically believe that they, as individuals, still need these protections. Think about it. They know they gained a measure of "racial equity" in the past but that's not enough. They're afraid that they will now get culled based on actual merit. The truth is that most "white collar" workers in "Post Industrial" America have cushy jobs spending most of their time wasting lot of time playing and virtue signaling. This has nothing to do with race. But leftists think that Post Industrial society is supposed to be that way and that centrally planned "fairness" is the only kind. They think inherited wealth is everything. And that whatever wealth the current generation holds was due only to "connected" ancestors. Period. Therefore, Communism is the only "just" solution. Racial quotas were only a marginal step in the "march forward" towards Total Equality as defined by Marxists. These are Fabian Marxists. They deny being Communists when convenient solely for the purpose of deflecting from the fact that every Communist leader since Lenin talked about incrementalism and indicated that the expected, global "international workers' revolution" (seizure of all private capital) was obviously not going to pan out since WWI ended in the Paris Peace Conference and all of the "nationalist" reassembled as before the Great War, even though there's been a steady overturning of monarchy and colonialism (where a foreign nation rules over a smaller, sort of "occupied" nation by overlord political representative from the liege aka "Imperialist" state).
