He didn't say "prosecute according to the law". He said we will prosecute anyone "criminally responsible for attempting to interfere with the (legitimate, lawful) peaceful transition of power". That's not what happens at any joint session of Congress. The "peaceful transfer of power" is when the freaking Justice of the Supreme Court swears in the new Commander in Chief. This dude was nominated for Associate Supreme Court Justice by Obama. Anyway, the actual investigation would pertain to "unlawful acts" pertaining to the "January 6th (2020)" Joint Session of Congress. But not anyone that refused to answer questions about all of the sketchy things that happened between election day and when the criminals all gathered for their "democratic" theater. LOL. They're such blatant liars and incompetent lunatics.
