The whole idea is that "The Patriarchy" created "moral shame" to control people through priests and Christian leaders and so forth. This in and of itself doesn't even make for the beginning of a rational critique because it is Darwinist/Marxist dogma AKA "Settled Science". They start from this dogma when they're in grade school and by high school they are well indoctrinated on the related "cognitive dissonance" aka "false consciousness" Marxist-Freudian "Settled Science" dogma. Which is to say that they are brainwashed to reflexively reject and even despise anyone that disagrees with the cult's dogmas and talking points. And their own secular "popes" (like Joe Biden or Barack Obama). To come full circle to the "Pride" meme, it isn't that they're actually proud. They're taught that they must "speak truth to power" and "recapture dignity" by "proclaiming (their own) personal (and 'community') truths". This is their solution to critical thinking that triggers them. They're also taught to cultivate their own inner "defense mechanisms" to "Fight the Patriarchy" by demonstrating proof of their oppression through Trigger theater. Nobody thinks that they should be proud of this. Their contorted smiles reveal that this is just a twisted version of Freudian "group psychology" trying to...like I said.

Congress can not pass any law to restrict Constitutional prerogatives. They can't pass a "law" that requires SCOTUS Justices to disclose this, that and the other. The Senate helps vet judge and then the only valid way for to remove the is through Impeachment. WRT "National Security" in the Federal lane, POTUS is the elected god. You need to Amend the Constitution if you want to legally restrict his Constitutional prerogatives. And BTW, POTUS has exclusive power to fire anyone in the Federal Executive Branch at will. You're a brainwashed socialist kook that thinks you have a decent education when you've been lapping up lies for your entire life. You never learned to perform your own "due diligence" investigation before posing as erudite "common sense" critic. And finally, the legislation that has been enacted pertaining to National Security Intelligence is perfectly consistent with what I wrote. Only by "cherry picking" or stripping out Presidential powers and pretending that some "crimes" can be aimed at POTUS can you then say "Oh, we have the law on our side". No, you don't. If you want to study the "wild idea" of how the freaking US Constitution works I suggest a short course on Oliver Cromwell and how Parliament came to rule over the British monarchy through war and regicide. That's the political context that the colonists understood. They wanted to improve on that. If you don't understand that even a little bit you want really understand the importance of the "3 branches" and "checks and balances" paradigms. If you want to take out a President you have to Impeach, Remove and then prosecute according to the evidence. And you have to have an actual crime to get a conviction. Or, it used to be that way. I said POTUS is the owner and may choose to keep it, declassify and publish it, turn it over to the national archives that sort of allow it to be governed by unelected bureaucrats, etc. That is how it has always worked. He's not compelled to keep it, obviously. He has Top Domain Classification Authority. The only erroneous thing that Trump said is that taking it out is an act of declassifying. No, it's an act of reclassifying it as his personal property. And most of the time what we're talking about is the copies he keeps. He may but does not necessarily remove all copies from the master databases, in cases where they were once entered. He has a right to remove and secure for his own records just about anything as long as he doesn't violate anyone else's Constitutional rights. He can't go around like Bill Clinton and deprive due process rights to citizens that are engaged in legitimate civil lawsuits. That's criminal obstruction. And has nothing to do with national security information/intelligence.

@laurymc1977 Nobody has fought to protect the country since then got away with assassinating Lincoln. I guess you could call retaliatory strikes against Japan for Pearl Harbor "fighting for the country" but all of the fighting was deep in the Pacific or far across the Atlantic. I'm not saying the soldiers are dishonorable. But they never fought to secure our borders. Not even once. And that isn't their fault either. It's our scumbag politicians that take power under the auspices of the so called Democratic Party. The party born in treason, still trying to create a one party dictatorship, from Andrew Jackson until today.
