@kith00000 More stupid tropes. Was WWII fought to "meddle"? Fighting in every country? LOL. For sure the cult that runs DC has gone off the rails but the programs were put in place to end WWII. And unfortunately FDR thought Stalin made a great partner for that project all while colleges were slowly taken over by deluded Marxists. And you only ever hear about "meddling" and not when we ladle out funds on an annual basis. The theme song at the UN is "Money, that's what I want". Was the creation and support of the UN considered "meddling" back then? How about now? The US does have many "meddling" politicians and bureaucrats but my answer to that is "just say no".

They did not kick "America's ass". They demoralized our troops (who should not have been subjected to a draft) and the hippies demoralized each other and made a bunch of trouble. And LBJ should never have sent troops there to engage directly militarily. But Vietnam did defend their sovereign homeland quite effectively and that's a good thing for Westphalian sovereignty that the "world order" is supposed to be based on. Without it the UN is just a puppet show.
