@handleyourface Yeah, but based on precedent alone nobody takes this oath seriously. If they do it's because they have already determined that they don't want to behave like treasonous liars in any case. And also, just by promoting the doctrine or meme that "MAGA" aka "bitter clingers" aka "Capitalist Oppressors" aka "White Supremacists" or "Patriarchy" and so forth as "de facto enemies" you can justify anything these Communists have been doing for darn near 100 years. All pretending to defend "The Constitution" of their imagination.

@edgarvalderrama1143 No. This is very specific doctrine that comes from the dogmatic Victicrat cult. The idea is that they were born in to an oppressive system and that they're coerced to follow these rules that don't benefit them. What they're alluding to is "the property question". IOW, because "equality" is constantly being redefined they say that the Constitution itself created the "rigged system". And so what they do is tell stories about "liberating the demos" through "holding the Oppressor to his own standards". This doesn't mean they feel obligated to follow the law in good faith. They twist legal doctrines according to teach students to act as they there are constantly on trial for something they're falsely accused of. They "liberate" themselves by telling their "defense story" AKA justifications for why they don't follow the "oppressive" laws. Except they don't have to do it honestly. They just have to create "probable doubt" for a convicted. This, they say, is what everyone does. It sounds like you're one of them. So, when they do things like lie and steal they have already convinced themselves that the Bill of Rights is not "egalitarian" as they demand and therefore The Big Lie. So they must follow suit and lie constantly to defend themselves. But remember that everyone they hate benefits from the alleged Big Lie and therefore "they all do it". @KATingler Lying to Congress is still easier to get away with than lying in front of a judge in his court. Usually half or more of the "jury" wants these people to lie. That's the problem: The elected liars.

@carrietatum835 I heard Mitt Romney is going around confronting all of the big liars that populate Congress. Schiff is perhaps the worst in the House. Maybe all of Congress...almost nearing Romney levels of depraved lying. At least Schiff doesn't try to pretend to be the opposite of a dirty Communist while doing everything Xi asks.

@MsDc52 I think it started to get more popular when bull blown TDS set in at "American" corporate media that has international stockholders (and also dreams about selling entertainment and "news" media throughout the world, including in Communist China) and no solid chairman or CEO to cleave to a patriotic path.
