Any political movement that receives academic blessing is going to be organized under Critical Theory rubrics, an amalgamation of dogmatic social criticism from the 18th and 19th centuries that has been transformed in to absurd religious movements that claim to be anti-religious by owning "reasoning" as "The Brights" AKA dogmatic elitist atheists. Because they are the Altruistic Ubermensch. Unless you have a legitimate reason to increase "government" power over citizens, you are a regressive Progressive. Especially when you promote your schemes as "common sense" and support the idea that people only oppose your power because they're "reactionary" and stuff.
