At the bare minimum you should be able to stand up for yourself (mentally and physically) to be respected in the society. And I know especially physically in todays world it is almost obsolete but the way our brains work is still stoneage. So men as well as women are looking out for this subconsciously. And if you lack this they won’t say anything but the feelings of „this guy is a pushover“ will be there.

@ If you think that the so called „nice guy syndrome“ would apply to you I highly recommend you the book „No more Mr. Niceguy“ from Dr. Glover (also on Audible). I’ve been there and it helped me a lot to understand the dynamics and how to solve them efficiently.
