  1. You overlook something: I don’t think that the goverment is doing this by chance or because they hear the consumers voice. The goverment does so on purpose to do Apple a favour (of course influenced by their lobby). So in case in a future far far away when a critical Mass of people are complaining about REAL issues (Right to repair) they can raise their hands and say: What do you want from us, we already forced apple to include chargers, we are proactive! Who benefits from that? Correct, In the end its Apple... again:D
