  2. 'Gender' is the very system that oppresses us. The idea that there are 'dissident gender identities' only upholds and reinforces that system. It doesn't benefit girls and women to unite with people who uphold the very system that oppresses them. So your reading of 'non-men' is just as problematic as the more overtly misogynistic one.
