  1. She didn't really take any action, but then again no one is faster than a bullet. Either he had a jam or chose not to shoot her. Otherwise, nothing would have stopped that at the moment. Whatever reason the guy didn't shoot, coupled with her partners response is why she's alive. That's not her fault though. ANY cop in this situation would have the same result. The pleading was all she could do in the moment. She couldn't let go for her own gun as it would have freed him, so she was just left to beg. I will say, the instinct, even in an impossible situation, to close the gap and try to control is a result of good training...but overall she is alive by pure chance here as no training makes one faster than a bullet.

  3. Yes, but I also wouldn't consider this a simple mishap. He himself gave a tribute after her death, and a few weeks later he's looking around for her as if she never died. There's a word for that.

  4. That's the only two options. One does not simply forget someone died. Either it was intentional...or beyond his control. Either way...it's a MAJOR issue. We'll see what the WH does.
