  8. On a serious note, I'm not the only one I'm sure...but as someone who came literal inches from losing a loved one to a drunk driver, I have absolutely zero tolerance for this mess. It is 100% avoidable. There doesn't HAVE to be a single drunk driving death. It only happens when someone DECIDES to be stupid. I hope she learns a STIFF lesson.

  10. If companies actually understood that something like Chic-Fil-A exploded when the owner decided to stand their ground rather than cave on their personal view of marriage...things could change. They don't HAVE to cave to the demands of a fraction of a percent of America in order to keep their doors open. In fact, I think many MANY more people of all ideals would view them more favorably if they stood on the side of logic and allowed this manager to live his life and work after this, rather than allow a customer to systematically remove an employee at will.

  11. Her previous track record is what makes this so bad for her. If she was always way off, no biggie. She'd just be a terrible pollster in general. But she has a proven record of being very accurate for a long time. Meaning she KNOWS what she is doing when she conducts and collects those polls. So, to suddenly have a poll somewhere (a place that could swing the election no less) that so drastically differs from how that place has voted for all conceivable memory...we wonder and want answers.

At this point, "Vote Blue No Matter Who" is like being on a sinking ship, and protesting against getting off of it (or putting on a life jacket for that matter) AND against any potential life boats (think just voting for anyone else but a Democrat for once) being utilized because people might drown. He's done plenty, but I think it'd be much more impactful over all if he publicly stated he will NOT vote Democrat as a black man going forward unless he feels that vote is earned.   44. I think these kids have been abused themselves, all they have known is abuse, and they therefore think abuse is actually how normal life operates. As a result, when they see someone attempting to act against the abuse they see as normal, they view it as an attack on a "normal" way of living. When people grow up surrounded by disfunction, that disfunction becomes your normal. When someone attempts to show you what normal healthy life looks like, it seems foreign and strange, so you feel the need to fight it. That's what this is.

The Democrat party developed such a religiously devoted following that was willing to pull the lever "no matter who", no matter how bad things got...the vote was guaranteed. SO many Democrat voters took their brains out, put them down, and said "We will vote blue as long as we shall live no matter what!"...why would they have any reason to actually DO anything if they KNOW the vote will come in whether they do anything or not? I'm happy that people are realizing Party line voting is bullshit...but this has been talked about for a LONG time. Good to see folks snap out of it.
