  1. Convenient how AOC just entirely ignored a major policy question being answered with a request to just consider ones feelings. Emotional pleas are not gonna power an ocean liner weighing millions of pounds across the ocean by electricity only. Currently, if you had a full EV truck that needed to haul an EMPTY 2 horse trailer from point A to point B...you are gonna get 25 miles to a full charged battery. Possibly as little as a quarter of what a gas powered tank gets you. That is entirely dis-functional for society. Now apply this to a 220,000 TON container ship carrying many more tons of cargo...purely by battery. You see how utterly foolish this sounds and why she could only reply with an emotional plea. The idea is that it doesn't have to make sense, we don't have to have it all figured out, we just have to do it and fix the mess later. That is a horrifying policy position.

  2. Since the original question has just been ignored, I'll ask it here. How do you account for the gas powered ocean liners that make the economy tick when gas is not allowed? How do you make sure products still ship in a fair amount of time?

  4. We can not have a society that just expects cops to take beatings without defending themselves. The gun was the ONLY positively effective method of dealing with that situation. He had already had a flag pole broken over his head, a taser likely wouldn't have made good connection in that fight, and a baton would be useless. Gun it is.

  5. If this is the standard AOC wants, then I am forced to believe that every known rap artist in history is a violent domestic abuser who should be brought to justice...I somehow don't think AOC is willing to go there though.
