I think there was far more risk of being mistaken than being seen as a threat. Fortunately he wasn't, but you do NOT want to be wrong end of that accusation after shots are fired. Mentally, emotionally, or financially.

@gripz9387 Absolutely. I support it unendingly. My only point was that, if there were any risk for the civilian here, that would have been it. Based on the footage, it was very clear where the threat was. So very unlikely he would have been mistaken at all. And he wasn't, so the argument rests on that anyway hahah!

Cause that's the position you are taking here. Wanna stick with it?

Yup. Never seen a fist fight someone's legally won with a cop. Never seen a high speed chase anyone's been exonerated of. The only possible outcome ever, be it immediately or eventually (should you manage to escape), is harsher punishment. Take the ticket to court if you feel wronged. Take the arrest to court if you feel wronged. You will absolutely never win in a fight with police.
