  1. This mental entrapment is very prevalent on both extremes of both sides. I guess you can say anyone is susceptible to it, and it's exploited for political and financial gains across the board. The mentality that says "The election was 100% stolen, Biden died, and any evidence to the contrary only proves the cover up!" is the SAME mentality that says "All white people are racist by birth. Those who argue against this are further proving their racism." Both are self fulfilling prophesies and both are insanely dangerous to a society that is trying to healthily function together with differing ideas amongst themselves.

  2. Yeaaa, I've got a friend that seemed normal for forever. Posting family pics on social media, staying in touch with friends, ya know normal stuff. And then one day, it's like something snapped. He did a complete 180 and literally every single post (on every social media platform) is ENTIRELY about chem trails, flat earth, NWO, etc. Sad thing is, he and his wife have gotten my sister hooked on that garbage. She actually believes now that the earth is flat and the moon generates it's own light (that which we actually see reflected from the surface at night of course). But no, it is actually making it's own light. I could just blanket label it extremism, but it's deeper than that. It's actually sad to see them utterly consumed by the idea that absolutely everything has to have an underlying evil motive. A lot of it is rooted in a literal translation of the bible in areas where it is clearly not a literal record of a historical event (and I realize many here may think that of the whole thing). But oddly enough, they don't see tithing as literally having to grow your own crop or raise your own cattle and bring that to the store house. They recognize that it was written that way because the people of that time bartered and traded with those things like we do cash money today. So they are happy to grant that...but they refuse to grant that perhaps the literal 7 day creation timeline was more poetic than literal in it's reality.
