  1. The obviousness with wich Merkel and Macron assume that Rutte obeyed shows once again what the EU is actually turning, namely the division of power in Germany and France. The rest is secondary. This also explains why weaker and dubious Member states were admitted. Britain broke away from this money-devouring monster in time but is now receiving loads of criticism from people who have a curious resume to have. Even a decent country like Germany is led and represented by figures with a career full of blots and blunders. And should economical countries feel subordinate to that?
