  1. We should have dealt with it in the 90's like the French did. We could have had 20 Sizewell B's for £72bn (at todays prices - they were £2bn a pop at the time). That's 24GW of power, almost our entire baseload requirement.

  2.  @budgeman218  Maybe I was a little harsh on Boris to be fair. Cameron and Clegg (as usual) were most to blame as plans were already available to them and they did sod all. We (The UK) must stop the never ending court battles over planning permission and start building, Sizewell C is still not 100% free from objections. Not only does it delay construction but it wastes billions of pounds and puts off investors.

  3. Boris moved too slowly, hopefully Labour will speed things up a little. They don't seem to be anti-nuclear at least.
