  1. I've been "flash banged" twice. Once by a squaddie, who pulled the pin and chucked it up in the air and once on a vehicle trial when they were set odd while I was stood next to it! First I was expecting it, second was a shock and.. yes, you do turn away when they go off, you can't help yourself.
