  1. Only one RAF squadron is equipped with the F35 and that is currently dedicated to carriers ops (809 NAS is just about ready to begin operations). The RAF has aircraft from one of its Typhoon squadrons based in Cyprus as part of ongoing operations over Syria. It makes sense to use the assets already in place.

  4. The only F35B squadron currently operational is 617 squadron Royal Air Force. The first Fleet Air Arm squadron (809NAS) is about to commence operational flying.

  13.  @teddypicker6969  Sort of, I believe 809 NAS is still working up to Full Operational Capability. I'm only an observer though, they may be there in reality.
