Even if you could produce a binary explosive, you would never be able to just put the two halves together like in that chewing gum. For a start the chances of accidental initiation would be too great, but primarily because there would be incompatibility at the junction of the two halves.

@JamesChurchill Not practicable. All plasticised materials are prone to creep and bleed. Two chemicals with such violent incompatibility would eventually come into contact. A binary explosive that could be mixed and initiated yes, but not one which would initiate on contact.
