  6. The Gen III power stations currently under construction have features inbuilt that would negate a Fukushima-style accident. You might lose the reactor but there would be no external leak of radiation. These features have been included in reactors built since the 1990s. Upcoming gen IV reactors have even grater safety features that would in most cases result in only a temporary reactor shutdown.

  7. If you are talking about Australia then they are NOT putting nuclear energy into missiles (only the Russians are currently doing that). They are planning a series of nuclear powered attack submarines NOT ballistic missile submarines. Further those submarines will NOT be armed with nuclear weapons.
