@kennethgoldston4643 Not so. There were zero direct deaths attributable to the Fukushima accident. Around fifty workers received radiation doses above the prescribed limits of which one has since died from cancer. Around 2000 people are believed to have died from complications associated with the evacuation of the surrounding areas, though the vast majority of evacuations were completely unnecessary.

@ThePtoleme Unlikely. They could probably build one to that timescale, but getting it licensed is another matter.
