@carolinemcnulty6169 Were lepers suffering because of their own stupidity though?

@YA-qj8fx You have an extremely low chance of suffering any of those conditions by receiving a vaccination, however you will significantly reduce both the effects of Covid infection if you do catch it and your chance of passing it on to someone else.

@YA-qj8fx No, I am saying you are stupid because you fell for a conspiracy theory.

@YA-qj8fx Case in point - Flat Earth Focker Flat earther and "Convid" denier. He refused the vaccine and eventually fell ill with symptoms compatible with Covid. He posts a video online from his vehicle while sick, complaining about some guy telling him he should seek treatment. Beginning of November he post another video from his vehicle talking about his upcoming road trip across Canada to meet fellow flat earthers and covid deniers and asking for help with accommodation. He is still self medicating in the belief that he has "a bug". Within 36 hours this man, planning a trip to meet as many people as he could, was dead.

@thegeneralist7527 I believe in science. The same science that eradicated smallpox by vaccination.

@thegeneralist7527 If you wish to be a pedant then so be it.

@murraymclean5177 Possibly, but that is no reason to refuse to take advice from professionals.

@SWags-ly7dp Flat Earth Focker was the name he went by, that is fact not emotion. I cannot link his videos directly as they have been taken down, but you can hear and see him in this reaction https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRXwKdbDFmo Your follow up remarks are so ironic. Why? because you sound just like FEF in the days before he died.

@YA-qj8fx I never said that vaccination prevents transmission, it does not. It reduces the likelihood though and that is a fact, not an opinion. There are specific medical conditions that can result in an adverse reaction to the vaccines. They are known and you will be asked about them prior to being vaccinated. If you have one of them, then fair enough. For the population as a whole however the risks associated with the vaccine are far lower than the risks associated with catching the disease.

@thegeneralist7527 "Minor details?" I do apologise for having "academic training", so much worse than spewing "internet theories"
