I'm sorry, I was a Brexit supporter and still am, but Nigel is talking Bollox (pardon my language) The UK has minimal reliance on Russian gas, is about to reopen the Rough storage facility and has the main LNG terminal in Europe. Yes we should have invested in nuclear back in the 90's/2000's, but our current problems are more to do with prices than lack of fuel. We need Truss (or Rishi if he pulls off a surprise) to cap the price of energy and cover any excess charges. If that means stocking up more national debt, so be it. And before you call me a rabid leftie, I have only ever voted left of Tory once and that was a protest vote for the Monster Raving Loonies.
