  4.  @VanderlyndenJengold  You were still wrong. As for the AEW Nimrod the problem was not the airframe but integration of the radar. BAe were attempting to produce a new type of platform utilising two radars mounted in the nose and tail of the aircraft. Had it worked, the design would have eliminated one of the drawbacks of the E-3 type; namely a radar blind spot beneath the aircraft. The AEW Nimrod failed because they aimed too high.
