  1.  @GracesGarden80  You make valid points. The radar is good and it might be possible to match the ships system with the SM-6? missile for ABM use. I have often mused on the possibility of a UK "Aegis ashore" capability using the T45's radar system; there is one land based radar for trials purposes, so it should be possible. We have virtually no long range air defence missile capability to counter submarine launched cruise missiles as it stands.

  2. We currently have zero ABM capability. The T45 can track a ballistic missile, but carries no weapons to intercept it. We would be lucky if we had one T45 available even if we had a missile to fire :(
