And live up to your NATO spending commitments.

@elmersbalm5219 Rubbish. Germany isn't the only member of NATO. All NATO members agreed to spend 2% of GDP on defence but most members then reneged. Germany was happy to take the US loans to rebuild its shattered industry though.

Don't call it a plane Grunty, its an aeroplane ;)

@elmersbalm5219 Lol. Most of Europe has failed to live up to its own agreed commitments for the last sixty years.

People who think video games are realistic 😂😂

@elmersbalm5219 I think you will find it was the Soviets that held parts of Germany as an empire. It makes no difference however, Germany needed the loans at the time or it was screwed. None of which alters the fact that many European countries reneged on their agreements and relied heavily on the US taxpayer for their defence.

@minimax9452 You do remember WHY people were in Germany don't you?
1
@minimax9452 Canada is a fellow NATO member, you muppet.

@minimax9452 Germany did, in 1945

@elmersbalm5219 And what about Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Roumania, Bulgaria? Were they just "buffers" too? Did the lives of their citizens not matter? Do you really believe that Germany would have recovered the way it did had the whole country fallen under Russian occupation? Would they have pored in funds for reconstruction or extracted their pound of flesh in retribution? Not much evidence of the former apparent in the Russian empire.
1
@elmersbalm5219 Russia was an empire prior to WW2. Or do you think everyone from Poland to Alaska is Russian?
1
@elmersbalm5219 Well it certainly sounds like it. The US were not in Europe at all prior to WW2 and were reluctant to become involved then. The only european country "Occupied" by them (along with the British, French and Russians) was Germany. Having military bases in a country, with the blessing of that country's citizens and government, does not constitute occupation.
1
@elmersbalm5219 Fail. Only Alaska and Hawaii were not part of the USA prior to WW1 I repeat, Having military bases in a country at the invitation of the host is NOT occupation. Occupation is sending in tanks to overthrow the government of your so-called ally.

Why did I assume from the tile that this was a video about the Fairy Battle?
1
No, at least it made an almost passable night fighter.
