  4. Have to say I cannot help but have some sympathy with the MP here. From everything I have seen this appears to have been an honest mistake, handled badly. I can think of a few people sitting in jail now who probably wish they had ignored advice to plead guilty.

  7. We either support Ukraine now or allow Russia to win and grow; the latter resulting in a new Cold War. UK defence spending during the last cold war peaked at 5.5% GDP in 1984 and ran to 6% GDP and more before 1970. A hot war is even more expensive in every conceivable way.
