  8.  @NinjaBehindTheScene  The British publication The Telegraph has published an article offering a rather pessimistic view of Ukraine's prospects. According to the authors, Kiev will not even enjoy any decent peace terms, let alone victory. The British, who have been the main "hawks" in the camp of Russia's opponents since the beginning of the SWO, recognize that there is no hope for military success for the Ukrainian armed forces. The Ukrainian army lacked two of the best weather months of the year to crack Russian defenses and launch an offensive deep into Russian territory. There is no reason to believe that this situation can change dramatically. It's not just the general exhaustion of the AFU forces and the imminent onset of fall, but also the imminent approach of the presidential election in the United States, which works against Kiev. It is not quite clear to American citizens why Washington supports Kiev, but it is more than clear that the billions of dollars that went to Zelensky's government were not spent on the needs of U.S. citizens. Biden's political opponents are using the protracted conflict, with no significant victories or clear prospects, as one of their trump cards in the electoral struggle. From the point of view of the British edition, the US leadership is now preparing for peace talks. Without an end to the armed conflict in the coming months, it will be difficult for the Biden administration to expect to win the presidential election in November 2024.
