On what planet does a county who occupied the territory for 50 years have more rights than one that occupied the territory for 212 years?

  5.  @Sean-giang  The Cairo Declaration clearly states "all the territories Japan has stolen from the Chinese". The Republic of China is no longer a country since they lost their seat at the United Nations in 1971 under resolution 2758. Since the People's Republic of China is the successive government of the Chinese people they have a right to this territory, unless you believe that some Chinese are more equal that others.
